ALPHABET OF A COLORED MAN
Each painting features a letter.
Some of the paintings show a dreamscape of colors, perspectives, and views like a glance out the window of an elevated subway train in NYC keeping the letter disguised in the juxtaposed perspectives.
Other paintings are more directly portraying the letter, referring to tagging, a distinct style in graffiti.
All paintings of individual letters of the original conceived work series spell a phrase. The viewer is invited to search for the phrase.
